DVD Authoring: Hollywood-style DVDs for family and friends!
There are a number of inexpensive programs out there that will allow you to burn home video footage to DVD. Some of them even allow you to create basic menus, but typically you have to shell out some cash if you want your DVDs to look like the ones you can buy commercially – or even if you just want to put more than one video on your DVD!
We can produce a DVD that has multiple video clips – for a maximum of two hours – with a menu that features still or moving thumbnails, titles, a still or moving menu background, and even music that loops in the background. According to your preferences, we can include “DVD extras” such as bloopers or other elements taken from the content you provide. We can also include submenus that have chapter markers within each of your clips, also with thumbnails that represent the content. Adding all of these elements is what constitutes the difference between “burning a DVD video” and “DVD Authoring.”
| Finally, the disc itself can be printed with a label – a real one, not a sticky paper label that will come off – and the whole thing is wrapped in a protective, commercial-style case, using images from your video or separately provided images, and an appropriate title. Any footage you mailed us, as well as the DVD (or several to share with friends!) we make are returned to you.
