Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex\u00a0is one of Asia’s<\/span>\u00a0largest perishable goods market complexes. \u00a0S<\/span>pread over an area of 295 acres,\u00a0<\/span>the complex consists of more than 1,000 wholesale shops and 2,000 retail shops. <\/span>\u00a0The market has two blocks for vegetable shops and one each for fruit and flower shops. In Phase II, a textile market,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>and in Phase III, a food grain market\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>have been planned to be developed in the complex.<\/span><\/p>\n
