Strangers Nos. 89 and 90
These two boys agreed to pose for me. I didn’t catch their names. Basically, I spotted a cool looking building across the street, and as I was snapping the shot, they walked in front of it. And then started clowning around. And then I asked them to pose for this shot. Here’s how it unfolded:

Stranger No. 66
This is Drakesh, who helps his mom run a small drinks stand at Marina Beach, near the lighthouse. Â We bought a couple of sodas from them, but Drakesh was really interested in a camera. Â Hopefully he can get one eventually.

I ran into them at the Sri Ekambareswarar Temple in Kanchipuram, India. They may have been pilgrims – or maybe they were just on a trip. But

Strangers Nos. 20, 21 and 22
Poomaro Pandi, Yo Gesh, and Surya Paradeep (from left to right) were pilgrims I met while visiting the Kanchi Kailasanathar Temple in Kanchipuram. We were chatting and swapping photographs, and the next thing I knew they were asking to be friends on Facebook.

Stranger No. 7
This is Akash, who caught my eye because he seemed to be very proud of his bicycle. So instead of the usual close-up portrait, I decided to take a wider angle shot showing the object of his pride. At the time, I thought the photo had come out better than it had – but it
