Andre (or Andrei) I met at the Saturday Night Market in Goa, a weekly happening that brings in tourists and locals alike. Andre and the friend he was talking to are from Belarus, and they both spend the tourist season here in Goa, and then go back for the rest of the year. Presumably that works out weather-wise too – it’s probably cold as hell in Belarus right now. I thought he had an interesting look, and, partly through his friend who was translating, told him about my project, which he agreed to be part of.
