Stranger No. 42

Ramaswamy is a jolly guy I ran into at the Mylapore Festival. I asked him if I could take his picture and he agreed. Then he asked for 20 rupees for a cup of coffee, presumably in exchange. I assume the gesture he is making with his hands means something, and there was a booth being set up, and he was with about a dozen other guys also dressed in orange. I was told they were “holy men” but due to the language barrier, I was unable to get much more information. Here are his cohorts:

In the photo caption on Flickr I assumed they were pilgrims; in reality, I have no idea. It was only a guess.
