More Ovamboland bars (shebeens)

I posted some time back about driving through Ovamboland – which is in north-central Namibia, and about the bars, or “shebeens” you see along all the major roads, and the creative names people paint on them. ┬áHere are some more examples:

This one is for the well-read who would recognize that Nimrod is the biblical king who started the tower of Babel (I had to google it)

This one is really popular every 4 years or so.


At what point does it become the “old location” bar?
